Build Your Team

Each team requires a minimum of 10 individuals and an adult Team Captain. Teams may consist of students from school classes, clubs, after school programs, or even youth groups. Be creative!


Log Activity

Team participants record their physical activity and fruit and vegetable servings on their daily recording sheet and team logging poster. Complete individual challenges for giveaways.


Track Performance

Team captains track the team's performance by logging into the website and entering the teams total activity and fruit and vegetable servings. Complete team challenges for giveaways.

  • January 31

    • Big Sky Fit Kids team registration deadline (late entries accepted)
  • February 1

    • Big Sky Fit Kids program begins!
  • March 4, April 3

    • Deadline reporting dates (report hours and fruit and vegetable consumption)
  • March 17 - 21

    • 5-2-1-0 Challenge

    • Kids strive for 5 fruits and veggie servings, 2 hours or less of leisure screen time, one hour daily physical activity, and zero sugar sweetened beverages (per day).

  • April 3

    • Last day to report final miles (include miles through April 1)
    • Deadline to submit for Bike Drawing Giveaway
  • April 7

    • Winners will be drawn
      • (2) $500 - Winner for the Challenge
      • (1) $500 - Winner for Fruits and Veggies Make a Difference
      • (10) $50 Scheels Gift Cards awarded to Team Captains
      • 5210 Bike Drawing Giveaway
  • July 18 - 20

    • Big Sky State Games! Plan to participate.
